Oversees the entire Awana® club and youth experience for the local church. Responsibilities include communicating vision, shepherding leaders, managing administrative duties and communicating to church leadership, parents, children and leaders.
Oversees one age-specific Awana club or youth program. Responsibilities include communicating vision, shepherding leaders, managing administrative duties and communicating to church leadership, parents, children and leaders.
Awana at Home® Director
Oversees Awana at Home – the family ministry of Awana Clubs™. The director will train parents to disciple their children using the Awana at Home structure. Throughout the year he or she will build relationships with parents, offer additional training and fellowship and encourage parents in their commitments.
Large Group Teacher
Teaches children or youth age-appropriate Bible lessons in a large group setting.
Plans and leads age-appropriate games during Game Time. May direct Game Time in one or more clubs on the same night.
Builds relationships with a small group of children or youth to help them learn and understand handbook sections and Bible lessons. Actively participates in all club segments.
Supports the leader by listening to kids recite sections during Handbook Time.
Teenager or pre-teen who serves as an Awana leader in a younger club.
Provides administrative support by maintaining attendance and achievement records, tracking inventory and placing orders. May support one or more clubs.
Leads song time in an age-appropriate way in a large group setting. May sing, play an instrument and/or lead hand motions.
