All registration forms must be received by February 10, 2013. Registrations will freeze at this time so that room assignments can be made and e-mailed to team’s Summit leaders. We can not accept any changes after that date.

** Please note that in lieu of the participation form with the pastor’s signature as in the past, we are simply asking you at the end of the form to affirm that the pastor has approved of this entry.

Check-in Information
Scheduled performance times will be e-mailed to the team’s Summit leader approximately one week prior to Summit. You will be required to check in at the event during the scheduled time. You will be asked at that time to confirm all performance times and to turn in all visual pieces.

Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled competition time. If you are not there at your scheduled time, you will forfeit your opportunity to perform.

Song Suggestions
Music selected for competition must be sacred. For the purposes of this competition, sacred music is defined as songs dedicated to God as the object of our worship. The lyrics must reflect this.
For instrumentalists this means if you are using a selection it must be a sacred composer.

You may perform any sacred piece you wish but for help in choosing a piece refer to the “Contest Piece Suggestions” sheet. If you are looking for help finding an arrangement of contest quality, you may find the following site helpful: http://www.bjupress.com/category/Solos?path=7

Any questions regarding this can be directed to the Coordinator.

Practice Rooms
Practice rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be considerate of your time in the rehearsal rooms if others are waiting.

Room Assignments
The location of each competition will be available during Check-In at the Fine Arts table at the beginning of the event. Rooms will be assigned according to availability and needs of the competition.

2013 Summit Fine Arts Rulebook.
